Development and vibration analysis of go-kart system A group of researchers performed static test on the chassis created by using the ALGOR Fempro software to determine the Stress Von Misses of the chassis. Simulation in the software showed the distribution of the stress clearly on the three dimensional modeling of the chassis structure when forces or load was added to the model [9]. Not only that, the bending of the structure can be easily seen in the software. Besides that, simulation is also can be done using ANSYS software after obtaining the 3 dimensional modeling of the chassis. Based on the structural analysis using ANSYS performed by [10] found that the loading and boundary condition of were set before element and nodes is determined and set.

Multi-State Load Models for Distribution System Analysis Abstract: Recent work in the field of distribution system analysis has shown that the traditional method of peak load analysis is not adequate for the evaluation of emerging distribution system technologies. In addition to the seasonal variations, emerging technologies such as demand response and plug-in electric vehicle charging have the potential to receive control signals that affects their energy consumption. To support time-series analysis over different time frames and to incorporate potential control signal inputs, detailed end-use load models that accurately represent loads under various conditions, and not just during the peak load period, are necessary. This paper will build on previous end-use load modeling work and outline the methods of general multi-state load models for distribution system analysis.

Susan Tierney, Analysis Group, moderated a session on models for distribution system planning. Tierney opened the session by pointing out that distribution planning is on the cutting edge, where many of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the electric power system lie, such as bidirectional power flow, innovative devices, and new customer behaviors. Speakers discussed existing modeling capabilities and emerging needs as distribution systems transition to incorporate greater dynamism and respond to evolving technologies, policies, and consumer behavior.

This book deals with quantifying and analyzing the risks associated with sustainable energy technology growth in electric power systems, and developing appropriate models and methodologies to mitigate the risks and improve the overall system performance. The rapid increase in the installation of renewable energy sources in electric power systems has given rise to a wide range of problems related to planning and operation of power systems to maintain quality, stability, reliability and efficiency. Additionally, there is a growing global environmental concern regarding increasing emissions from the electric power generation required to meet rising energy needs and support sustainable and inclusive development. The phenomenon of low voltage ride through LVRT , common to wind energy systems, is discussed, and ways to tackle the same are proposed in the first chapter.
